This
site features developing Web-based software implementing procedures
developed by the Biostatistics and Data Management Core of Darmouth's
Superfund Basic Research Program. The currently available programs
are aimed at assisting in the development of new projects.
Sample
size requirement for comparing two correlations
This
is a program developed for the SBRP's Project 7: "Variation in the
Bioaccumulation Transfer of Toxic Metals in Aquatic Food Webs in
Northeastern Lakes" (Carol Folt, PI) . The program shows the
required sample size of fish necessary in each of two lakes to achieve a
given power for comparing the correlations in the each of the lakes
between stable isotopes marking diet and concentrations of arsenic in
the fish tissue.
Power
calculation for the changepoint of a two-segmented logistic regression
This
is a program developed for the SBRP's Project 4: "Epidemiology of
Arsenic" (Margaret Karagas, PI) to study the power of a
case-control study to detect change points in a two-segmented logistic
regression model.
